Think big.
We've got a ~20x40' area to play in!
Think fast.
Slice the arena in half with strategicly played hazards
Dodge spinning explosions.
Think on your feet.
It involves running around, or really strategic walking.
You may want comfortable footware.
We may have more than 6 headsets, but may keep them in reserve. Towards the end of the run, we may put them all into play!
If you've got your own quest 2/3/pro/3s you can download it and play it with us. Inquire at the game.
(no tech support though! You need hand tracking, and advanced spatial services enabled)
Touch a white square! Nice. You get to play 2 more seconds
Don't touch a white square for 2 seconds? GG.
Touch a red NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITRO tile?
Boom. 1 second to escape the red hazard.
Touch a red hazard? GG
Touch a green tile? POWER UP.
Drop it with Right hand pinch. Split the arena in half! Box in your friends. (former friends). GG.
Map editing. We may allow map editing: Right hand pinch to add / delete tiles!
NitroGrid is a non-contact sport! Don't walk backwards, run into other people or do backflips.
XR means you can see through the headset, but your vision is very narrow.

Let's meet!
I'm looking to network & build bigger games. e-mail paul@nitrogridgame.com
This game was made with Unreal Engine 5.6.3.
It's in progress.
It's being made for fun, and it's fun to make.
No known AI products were used, consulted, employed.
Except I had suno make some songs around lyrics I wrote, but I don't even remember them, and I wouldn't use them anyways.
Cheers!
Paul
